Members and guests of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia and New Zealand will participate in a special regional conference this Sunday, 28 February.
An estimated 50,000 people will attend the conference at their nearest Latter-day Saint stake centre and watch proceedings via satellite broadcast.
The conference will begin with local leaders giving remarks and choirs presenting musical items. Then, speakers from the faith’s worldwide headquarters in Salt Lake City, United States will address those in attendance, via a delayed broadcast.
The conference will begin at 10am in both countries.
Sermons and musical items at Latter-day Saint conferences focus on strengthening individuals and families by teaching the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
