Kawerau New Zealand Volunteers Clean River Banks

"Come and Help" month inspires community service

Members and friends of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kawerau, New Zealand cleaned up the banks of the Tarawera River recently.

The clean up was part of this month's "Come and Help" initiative across New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Members of the Kawerau Branch (congregation) worked with the Kawerau District Council on the clean up.

After the community service they relaxed with lunch together at nearby pools.
