Volunteers from Hamilton, New Zealand are making quilts for individuals in need. Quilts have been made for individuals experiencing homelessness, for patients in the Cancer Ward at Waikato Hospital, for women who have lost a new-born baby during childbirth, as well as guests of a local women's refuge.
Some volunteers are quilting every day, such is the desire to bring warmth and love to people in need.

JustServe.org is a website that gives people information about opportunities, like this one, to serve in their communities.
Volunteers in the USA, UK, Australia and some other countries have had the chance to access JustServe.org for volunteer ideas for several years. The site has just been launched in New Zealand this year.
