Thousands of people gathered in the Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake City on Monday, September 28, 2015, for the funeral of Elder Richard G. Scott of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder Scott died at home on September 22 at the age of 86. He served as an apostle of the Church for 27 years, after serving as a member of the Seventy and in the Presidency of the Seventy.
