Teragi Teariki a new member of the Church  from Farahei Ward, in the Faaa Takaroa stake, reflected on the blessings that he has received through following Jesus Christ.

Teariki said, “Our Saviour Jesus Christ, gives us a model to follow in our lives. He teaches us to do good to those who hate us and pray for those who mistreat us.  I forgave my father, who had hurt me as a child. The Lord took that venom out of my soul.  He freed me from anger and pain. The Prince of Peace [Jesus Christ] brought me peace.”

Teragi’s son Tumatarii added, “Today is the day of the resurrection of our Saviour. Jesus is alive. He is love and forgiveness. Jesus is our light. I am thankful, because without His sacrifice, we could not be saved."

Friends of other faiths also joined Latter-day Saint members at sacrament meetings throughout French Polynesia.
