Featured speakers, Natasha and Paul Kewene-Hite and their daughter, Sasha, are among the presenters at NZ Education Week 2021 coming to Hamilton 12-14 February and Auckland 19-20 February.
NZ Education Week is presented by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the events are all free, with no tickets or registration needed.
There will be over 30 different topics and presenters to choose from throughout the two weekends of in-person classes. Some of the topics which will be covered include spiritual and emotional wellness, leadership, marriage and family, and personal finances.
Natasha Kewene-Hite will share thoughts on "Lessons of the Butterfly" and emotional intelligence, exploring how understanding our internal emotional landscape can help us as we “navigate life’s challenges in our most important and precious relationships.”
Paul Kewene-Hite will speak to the "Entrepreneurial Mindset" and how to approach all of life’s roles and endeavours from an entrepreneur’s perspective.
Sasha will discuss how to find happiness and contentment progressing through life’s challenges.
Young adults and young marrieds can click on a tab for classes especially suited to their interests.
There will also be music classes and workshops and a music composition competition. Winner of the music competition, with entries closing on Feb 1, will have their piece performed during the event.
The Hamilton events will all be at the David O. McKay Stake and Cultural Events Centre and nearby facilities in Temple View, Hamilton.
The Auckland events will all be at the Papatoetoe Stake Centre at 66 Yates Road, Mangere East, Auckland.
