Elder James J. Hamula Meets with Pacific Islands Health Ministers

Pacific Area President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Elder James J. Hamula, attended a dinner of health ministers, diplomats and other government leaders from 10 Pacific Islands nations last week in Apia, Samoa.

The event, part of the 10th Pacific Health Ministers’ Conference, was held at the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum in Apia, Samoa.

Samoa’s Minister of Health, Tuitama Talalelei Tuitama, introduced Elder Hamula to all dinner guests, noting the many ways The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints supports health initiatives in the Pacific Islands and thanking the Church for its assistance.

Elder Hamula was also invited to offer a blessing on the dinner.
