Church Supports Vulnerable Children in Fiji

Representatives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fiji presented a new bed, pillows, hygiene kits and a selection of children's books to the Central Police Station this week.

The donated items will be used by police officers as they temporarily care for children who have been neglected or abused.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and others, donate to the Church's Humanitarian Fund which enables donations of this kind around the world.

In response to the teachings of Jesus Christ, many Latter-day Saints also volunteer their time to assist individuals, families and communities through this type of service.
