In September hundreds of talented teenagers will travel to Samoa from dozens of nations and territories around the world to compete in the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games.
As part of its support for the athletes and organisers, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has offered the use of its facilities at its Church College campus in Pesega, Apia.
Last week officials from the Samoan Government, 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games Organising Committee and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints met to finalise the details of the Church’s support of the Games.
An expected 1,200 athletes, officials and other visitors are expected to attend the Commonwealth Youth Games.
