BYUtv Changes Broadcast Approach in Samoa

BYUtv, based at Brigham Young University—Provo, in the United States, has been providing television content in Samoa for several years.

Due to a recent change mandating the way television is aired digitally in Samoa—which now includes a monthly tariff—BYUtv has discontinued airing its content through this means.

Viewers in Samoa will still be able to view BYUtv programs via streaming on the internet and on local cable channels.

BYUtv does not have an office or employ any staff in Samoa.

BYUtv offers family-friendly and faith-based programming that is viewed around the world.

Brigham Young University is owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
