Brigham Young University Academic Explores Interfaith Relations in ABC Radio Interview

ABC Radio’s “Sunday Nights” program recently featured an interview with Brigham Young University scholar, Dr Fred E. Woods, and ABC presenter, Noel Debien.

They discuss Dr Woods’ visits over the last 12 years to a leper colony in Hawaii, known as Kalaupapa, on the island of Molokai.

According to ABC Radio, Dr Woods shares how Protestant, Catholic and Mormon residents in the colony found, in their suffering, “more to bind them together than to divide them.”

Listen to an audio recording of the interview at the ABC Radio website.
