A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he is grateful for his God-given talents and the ability to do what he loves.

Todd won a gold medal at the 2012 London Paralympics and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.

“I haven’t got a distance in mind or a placing, just to do my very best and give it my all,” he said.

Todd’s passion for competing and ‘giving it his all’ are what motivate him. It is this passion that has driven Todd to train six days a week since the age of 17 to ensure he could compete in the Paralympics.

“In my first Paralympics I was able to break the 2012 world record and show myself and the world I was serious and here to stay!” Todd said, now age 33.

He is also participating as a leader of the men’s organization in his Melbourne congregation, serving in the Elders Quorum presidency.

He loves working with young people and encourages them to make informed decisions and seek for guidance from parents, leaders, and God.

Todd is hoping to able to compete in the 2032 Paralympics in Brisbane, Australia, his home country.
