The Australian High Commissioner to New Zealand, H.E. Hon. Patricia Forsythe, welcomed members of the Wellington interfaith community to the official residence for a chance to connect and share experiences earlier this month.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to get to know those in the Wellington community who spend time caring for others and working towards a better connected society,” the High Commissioner said.
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Mere Fiore and Tania Torea attended the event.
“I spoke briefly with the High Commissioner about the bond of unity we share with one another,” Mrs Torea said.
“It’s always a pleasure to be with our friends from other faith traditions.”
