Robert Dudfield, Communication Director for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia and Papua New Guinea, is moving into a new role this month.
Robert has been a leader in the Church Communication Department for the last eight years, apart from a three year mission with his wife Darice in Ethiopia where they opened a new mission for the Church.
According to his colleague, Richard Hunter, "Robert has friends everywhere. I mean everywhere. I've been with him in Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, Tahiti, Vanuatu, and the USA, and people keep giving him hugs and joyously catching up with him. He simply loves people like the Saviour does, and they love him right back."
Robert is moving into a new work role with More Good Foundation, an organisation that provides "the tools, training, and support for Latter-day Saints to share their beliefs on the Internet," according to its website.
Richard Hunter says that Rob will be sorely missed as he "always gives 100% for the Lord and for God's children through his kind, creative and faithful service."
"He is the type of person you want next to you when times are good, and when they are tough. He is a true follower of Jesus Christ, and always brings people closer to the Saviour through his words and actions. We love him and wish him well as he embarks on his next adventure."
