VIDEO: Aucklanders Develop Skills for Growing Their Business

"I wasn't too sure how to grow, how to progress, but after 12 weeks I doubled my productive assets."

12 prospective and existing business owners are smiling this week after graduating from a Latter-day Saint course titled, "Starting and Growing My Business."

One participant, Iosefa S. Taala, said, "I wasn't too sure how to grow, how to progress, but after 12 weeks I doubled my productive assets."

"I can't explain," he adds, "I'm happy."

The free course was held at the Latter-day Saint Self-Reliance Centre in the Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe.

The volunteer facilitators, Myron and Joy Mickelsen, who are "Self-Reliance" missionaries, said, "The course is for anyone who is interested and committed to a 12-week programme, wanting to help themeselves and do bettter in life."
