    ​Elder S. Gifford Nielsen and Olympic Legend Valerie Adams Shoot Christmas Video

    Elder S. Gifford Nielsen of the Pacific Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and two-time Olympic gold medallist and three-time world champion shot putter, Valerie Adams, recorded a video yesterday about the Church’s upcoming Christmas initiative.

            

    The initiative, titled, “Light the World,” includes a Christmas video which will go live on Mormon.org at 7pm on Friday 25 November (New Zealand time).

    The short video shot yesterday at the AUT Millennium Institute in Auckland, New Zealand—featuring Elder Nielsen and Valerie Adams—will point people to the “Light the World” video and other resources.
