Laisenia Tuitubou, Minister of Youth and Sports, was invited to induct 22 student leaders to serve at the Fiji Latter-day Saint Church College for the 2017 school year.
At the induction ceremony the new leaders were reminded that “to be chosen as a leader meant one was to serve and not be served,” according to an article in the Fiji Sun.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has two schools in Fiji. The Fiji Latter-day Saint College has 360 students, and 350 students attend the Fiji Latter-day Saint Primary School.
