He was joined by Hon. Peter Dunne; Andrew Little, Leader of the Opposition; Hon. Winston Peters; MP Su'a William Sio; and MP Pita Paraone.
In welcoming the diverse group of young people, Hon. Chester Borrows said, “What draws us here together is our faith—faith in different ways, but faith for the same purpose.”
He urged the young members of The Catholic Church and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints "to care enough to pray, to go, and to do.”
He added, “It is for us to be the biggest influence for good within our circle,” and that “sitting on the fence only breaks the fence.”
