    Dame Valerie Adams: Appointment is Official

    The New Zealand Herald reports this week that Valerie Adams has been officially appointed as a Dame.

    She was appointed a Dame of the New Zealand Order of Merit by Governor General Dame Patsy Reddy at Government House in Auckland today.

    Dame Valerie is an Olympic gold medalist, world champion and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
